Redbull

Ah yes, Redbull, the first energy drink known to man by many.  Or Coffee is the first energy drink I actually suppose.  But yes, Redbull is probably THE tastiest energy drink.  The cons of Redbull are that it's too expensive and it lacks in the vitamin department so it doesn't do too much for energy besides the caffeine content.  Redbull kind of has a citrus taste, very delicious.  Definitely try it if you haven't had it, but I am sure you have if you're reading an energy drink review blog.

Rockstar Original

Today I'll be reviewing Rockstar.  I've always wondered, is Rockstar Energy Drinks made by Rockstar Video games, the same people who make Grand Theft Auto, I think they have a similar logo.  Too lazy to Google it though.  So my friend coined this term about Rockstar Original is that it's the poor mans Redbull.  It tastes similar to Redbull but not as delicious as Redbull, also more chemically tasting than Redbull.  The taste is a lot more citrusy than Rebull and it does taste good.  The thing about Rockstar to me is that you can't drink it everyday, I eventually get really burnt out on the flavor and can only drink it every once in a while.  I just Wikipedia'd Rockstar Energy Drinks and they have 14 different flavors and get this, Rockstar was founded by the son of conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage.  Turns out there also used to be an alcoholic version of the energy drink sold until 2007, uck.  Now if Redbull had some deal with Jagermeister and made some kind of canned yager bombs that'd be crazy.  Now Rockstar does pack a punch, I'd say the energy factor is on par with Monster, I can trust it to wake me up if I need to do something important.   So I'm going to say Rockstar is definitely worth trying if you've never had it, but make sure you try the original before you try some whacky flavor like pomegranate or something (nasty).  Also in response to a comment from my last post, if you don't believe in the effects of an energy drinks next time you're going to work one morning and you're really tired pick yourself up a Rockstar Original or Monster Original and tell me how it works out for you. So that's the end of this review, let me know what you would like to see reviewed next.  I'll see all of you next time.

First Review

Hello and welcome to my energy drink blog.  I'll be posting about all things energy drinks, probably mostly just reviews.  Today we'll be reviewing Monster Energy drinks, original flavor.  I can't really get down on any other flavor asides from green, I guess the blue low calorie isn't bad.  Now I've had all kinds of Energy drinks, probably tried everything I've seen but this one really does it for me.  Back in the day when I was working 14-16 hours shifts sometimes a mega Monster energy 24oz can would really keep me awake and going.  I can really swear by the effects.  It's NOT the best tasting energy drink which I would give to Amp or Redbull but I would always choose this one other those, Rebulls put me to sleep.  Now I'm not saying it tastes bad because I LOVE the taste of Monster original, it is probably #3 in best tasting energy drinks in my opinion.  I could probably say that at one point in my life I was addicted to Monster, maybe I still am.  I can't really compare its taste to any other energy drinks that I can think of off the top of my head.  This is probably going to be nicest review I'm going to have for energy drinks, I can't really think of anything that I could say about it.  I would even say that it has a bit of a citrus taste.  And it delivers quite a punch.  So let me know what you guys think about Monster Energy.  And I'll talk to all of you guys next time.
